Biography Walter Stengel
Walter emmigrated together with his wife Margot from Germany to Chile in a ship journey that lasted 81 days.
In October 1955 he took over the leadership of the fish-catching enterprise "Pesquera Quiriquina" in the port city of
Talcahuano. Formerly he had been sailor and participated with
Aristotle Onassis in whale-fishing on the Chilean
coast. |
