Biography Hellmut Hilger


Hellmut Hilger was conscribed to work before going to college and then to the army in 1939. After World War II he became prisoner of war of the Americans but soon returned home after war end. In 1954 he and his family moved to Wuppertal where he started working at the Dr. Kurt Herberts lacquers factory. He remained loyal to the company until his retirement. During the last years he was authorized signatory for packaging lacquers.
